Why do we relay? We know we can make a bigger difference when we combine forces! In the summer of 2012, we lost one of our beloved teachers and colleagues, Georgia Luxenberg, to cancer. She lived in the neighborhood and raised all three of her, now adult, children here in Agoura. We have relayed since 2013 in honor of Mrs. Luxenberg and others in our community.

AGOURA HILLS, Calif. – On Wednesday, May 4 at 12:30 pm on the upper field of the campus, students, staff, parents, district leaders, school board members and community members will celebrate the selection of Lindero Canyon Middle School as one of California’s 2015-2016 Schools to Watch-Taking Center Stage model middle schools. “We are thrilled to have received this recognition,” said Principal Abbe Irshay. “Our staff and students have worked very hard in an exciting and challenging middle school program to demonstrate strong student achievement. This ceremony is an affirmation of the fine work so many have done in the school, district and larger community.”
