Dear Lindero Canyon Middle School Families,
Welcome to the 2016-2017 school year. As a national Schools to Watch middle school, I am devoted to partnering with teachers, staff, and parents, to ensure our students receive an exceptional educational experience. The middle school years are an amazing journey for students with abundant growth and discovery academically, emotionally, and socially. Together with the teachers and staff, I want to assure you we will maintain a nurturing, accepting, secure, and educationally inspiring environment at Lindero, while encouraging strong character values and respect for others. I will strive for each student to have a middle school educational experience where high academic values challenge them to work toward reaching beyond their full potential as life-long learners with creative problem solving skills to help prepare them for high school as teenagers with strong, compassionate character. The development of each student's self-worth and self-image is central to our mission. We pride ourselves in being a school whose foundation is built on academic excellence, always with the goal for students to leave Lindero with the tools they need to be successful high school students and compassionate citizens.
Teachers, parents, and our community all play a vital role in helping students reach beyond their potential. Lindero staff are regularly involved in developing innovative curricula and instructional approaches intended to help our students prepare for the rapidly changing world. I strive to provide an inspirational, engaging, and appropriately challenging curriculum that will prepare students for success within the classrooms of Lindero and beyond.
I am honored to be the Principal of a dynamic school such as LCMS and am looking forward to a rewarding year and continued success for all of our students. Together we will guide them to achieve academic success, become responsible citizens, effective communicators, critical thinkers, foster healthy peer relationships, and lasting middle school memories.
