Culmination Requirements
MIDDLE SCHOOL CULMINATION REQUIREMENTS
In order to culminate (graduate) from a Las Virgenes middle school, a student must be of good character and citizenship, must have completed the following required courses and must have attained the required units as indicated. At any time that a student's progress indicates that culmination requirement may not be met, the school shall hold a parent/legal guardian conference. Failure to complete these requirements can preclude enrollment in a Las Virgenes high school.
Total units required to participate in culmination is 165.

NOTE: Students may not fail more than three semesters of any subject or receive two fails in a single subject area, and still be eligible to culminate.
*ADDITIONAL UNITS REQUIRED: 15
Can be earned in English, Mathematics, Social Science, P.E.., or Electives with no more than a total of 30 in P.E.. or Electives.
CULMINATION CEREMONY
In order to participate in the culmination ceremony students must meet the minimum academic requirements as stated and meet the minimum behavior requirements per school policy. Students who are not participating in the ceremony should not be in attendance at the ceremony.
