Dear LCMS Community,

I am thrilled to extend a warm welcome to all of you as we embark on another exciting academic year at Lindero Canyon Middle School! My name is Eric Anhalt, and I am privileged to serve as your principal. It is both an honor and a privilege to lead such a vibrant and dynamic community.

My journey with the Las Virgenes Unified School District began in 2002, when I first stepped foot into LCMS as a substitute teacher. Since then, I have had the opportunity to work in various roles across the district, but LCMS has always held a special place in my heart. It truly feels like home to me, and I am grateful for the chance to continue serving this incredible community.  In addition to serving as a teacher, assistant principal, and now principal, I am fortunate that Lindero Canyon Middle school was where all three of my children attended middle school.  Our family can attest to the fact that LVUSD schools prepare students for not only the next level of their education, but it also prepares them for college and beyond!

As we look ahead to the coming year, I am filled with excitement and optimism. I am eager to collaborate with our dedicated staff, supportive families, and talented students to create an enriching and rewarding educational experience for everyone. Together, we will strive to foster a culture of excellence, inclusivity, and growth where every student can thrive and achieve their full potential.

I am committed to ensuring that Lindero Canyon Middle School remains a place where students feel valued, inspired, and empowered to succeed. We have a very special With your partnership and support, I am confident that we will accomplish great things this year and beyond.
