LCMS All-Stars Sports Program

Welcome to the Lindero Canyon Middle School All-Stars Program, brought to you by the PE Department! This program is designed for students who want to compete in various sports throughout the school year. Here's everything you need to know to get involved.

Sports Included:

  • Flag Football

  • Soccer

  • Basketball

  • Volleyball

Season Dates:

  • Flag Football: August

  • Soccer: September - October

  • Basketball: January - February

  • Volleyball: March - April

Practice Schedule:

  • Practices are typically held during lunch periods.

Games:

  • How many games are there?
    3-4 games per season.

  • When is the game schedule released?
    The game schedule is released at the student info meetings, which take place prior to tryouts.

Tryouts:

  • Does my student need to try out?
    Yes, students must try out for each sport. If there is enough interest, practice teams will be formed for those who do not make the main team.

How to Sign Up:

  • Look out for student info meetings prior to each season! These meetings will be announced in the Cougar Chronicles and morning announcements.

Eligibility:

  • All grades can try out for the All-Stars Program, but 7th and 8th graders are given priority when forming teams.

Uniforms:

  • Do I need to buy a uniform?
    Yes, T-shirts are available for purchase at $15.

Donations:

  • There are no required donations beyond the purchase of the uniform shirt.

Parent Meetings:

  • Is there a parent meeting?
    Generally, there are no parent meetings. We only have student info meetings prior to each season and tryouts.
